At St. Joseph’s, we foster a whole school approach to learning and celebrating the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist and Confirmation. The entire school and parish community supports our Sacramental candidates in their preparation.
We acknowledge that faith development and Sacraments do not occur in isolation and therefore place a strong emphasis on family and parish engagement during these special times. For each of the Sacraments, classroom learning is supported by a Family Preparation evening, a Presentation Mass and culminates in the the formal celebration of the Sacrament.
The Sacraments are offered to students in the following years of school:
- Year 3 Reconciliation
- Year 4 Eucharist
- Year 6 Confirmation
